Celebrating one year of sustainable jewellery: Our journey as a Not on the High Street partner

Celebrating one year as a Not On the High Street partner

This October marks a truly special milestone for Aria & Avery; one whole year of being a Not On The High Street partner!

It’s hard to believe how much has changed in just twelve months. One year ago, I was seven months pregnant, building this brand as a side hustle with just three products: our matching Mama, Mummy & Mini necklaces. Those first designs were the heart of the brand — a way for mums and little ones to feel connected wherever they are.

Fast forward a year, and I’m writing this with my 9-month-old baby beside me, reflecting on how far this little idea has come.

From small beginnings to a beautiful jewellery collection

What started as a simple idea has now grown into a full collection of sustainable jewellery for both mums and children — including fingerprint necklaces that I'm so excited to share with you, children’s birthday bracelets made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, children's charm necklace, positive affirmation jewellery and timeless keepsakes designed to celebrate motherhood in all its forms.

Each piece is designed and made with love and care, using recyclable materials and eco-friendly packaging made in the UK. Every piece of jewellery  includes a plantable heart made from seed paper, so mums and children can share a wholesome moment planting wildflowers together — creating memories that grow just like they do.

A year of small business growth and gratitude

Becoming a Not On The High Street Partner was one of my very first business goals, written in my business plan long before Aria & Avery was born. To look back a year later and see how much the brand has evolved — while juggling motherhood — feels like a real pinch-me moment.

This past year has been filled with creativity, late nights, and so many lessons. I’ve connected with wonderful customers, thoughtful brand owners, and other inspiring mums running small businesses of their own. It’s been a journey of community, creativity, and growth.

Looking ahead to 2026

As we celebrate this one-year anniversary, I can’t help but feel excited for what’s next. New collections are already in the works, exciting collaborations are coming into fruition, and I can’t wait to keep designing meaningful, sustainable jewellery that mums and children will treasure for years to come.

To everyone who has supported Aria & Avery — whether you’ve made a purchase, followed along on social media, or shared kind words — thank you. Your support means the world and has helped turn a dream into a thriving small business that I now do full time.

Here’s to another year of growth, connection, and keepsakes made with love.
